"We are never thrown out...."

Okay, time for some campy fun. The classic television series "Bewitched was a not miss in our house. Even as a small boy, I got the late and incredible Elizabeth Montgomery's alter ego Serena's humor.

Above is a favorite Serena moment. Montgomery would later comment that she was getting a little bored with nice Samantha, so writers created Serena (credited as Pandora Spocks.) The name was a take on "Pandora's Box" created by Montgomery's husband at the time, William Asher. Asher remarked: "you never knew what mischief awaited when Serena popped in."

Serena wanted 70's rockers "Boyce and Hart" to perform a song she wrote titled "I'll Blow You a Kiss in the Wind" as she is chairwoman for entertainment of the witch's "Cosmo Cotillion". One problem: the group are at the height of popularity and when Serena presents her proposal to the group's manager, she is asked to leave, prompting my favorite quotes by Samantha's crazy cousin: "WE are never thrown out, and we never leave quietly. WE stalk out in a huff and we get revenge!" And so she does with a little spell. ENJOY!
